My Life.....: October 2008

It was going to be a weekend and we had planned kashid Beach this time. At 5:30am Saturday after our shift, we (Feroz, Sameera, Rohit and Me) left for Kashid directly from Office. On the way we dropped in at Amby Valley for Sunrise and then proceeded to Alibaug. Took the speed boat to the fort. The Fort was not at all maintained. It was stinking and dirty but the boat ride was worth it. Once we were back, we drove to Kashid. Reached Kashid by 2:00pm and waited for the rest of our Office gang to arrive. They came by Bus to Kashid directly. We had lunch and went to the beach in the evening. Sunset was awesome as in the photos. Never miss sunset at Kashid. You can really see the golden orange glitter all over the beach. We went to the room and had dinner after refreshing. Dinner was too good. Went again to the beach for a walk in the night and left Kashid by 2:00am. All of us were tired as we had not slept for almost 45 hours. We had snacks at a restaurant beside the highway and reached Pune by 6:00am. It was a very hectic trip, but a memorable one. Here are some pics..!!

Mutha Ghats also known as "Biker's Paradise" not only has awesome roads, but it also is filled with scenic beauty on both sides. Harrison, Vijay and Myself started towards Lavasa through Mutha Ghats. It is about 55Kms from Chandni Chowk towards Pirangut. We passed through Mutha Dam and then the ghats start. The roads were awesome and did not have even a single pot-hole (coz in india we usually have only Pot-holes and no Roads). Riding these ghats was a different feeling altogether as it was filled with greenery and colourful flowers on both sides. There is a small snack-shop on top. The climate was really beautiful with a lot of sun-shine and a little shower. We clicked a lot of snaps as usual and thoroughly enjoyed everything. We reached home by 6:30pm. For Puneites, Mutha Ghats is a beautiful place for a One-Day trip. I will ride these ghats again. Till then enjoy the photos.....
